What's On At Your Library

Browse below for our regular events and programs, there's something for everyone!

Rhyme Time

Every Wednesday from 10am, for children aged 0-2 years. Our Rhyme Time sessions offer a fun and educational experience for both parents and children. Each session will help your child develop early literacy skills through simple rhymes, action songs and stories.

Storytime

Every Thursday from 10am, for children aged 2-4 years. Storytime is a fun way to introduce your child to books. Includes rhymes, dancing and craft activities to stimulate their little imaginations.

Coast Crafties

Our regular craft session held every Saturday from 10am-12pm. Learn new skills such as pottery, macramé, water colour painting and so much more. A small fee is charged per session to cover the cost of materials.

                                            English Conversation Classes

Every Tuesday evening at 6pm, designed for people whose first language is not English. A fun session where the class engage in everyday conversations and hone their English skills and make new friends. 😊

                                                     Book Club

We have two book clubs, one held every Monday at 2pm and the other on Thursday evenings at 7pm. Come and compare notes about your favourite stories. The library also hosts book launches that coincide with book club sessions.

The Birchwood Fair

Our annual library fundraiser, a big event held in the glorious library grounds on the first Sunday in October. With food trucks, licensed beverage tents, stalls, entertainment and show rides, it is not to be missed! All proceeds go towards funding Turquoise Coast Library's exciting new projects.
