What We Offer

Turquoise Coast Library has a wealth of resources and services to offer its patrons. From books to podcasts, we strive to be innovative and relevant, keeping up-to-date with new technology and sources of information. Please have a browse of the list below, you are sure to find something to cater for your educational or recreational needs.


  





  • A huge range of fiction and non-fiction books, journal articles, magazines, periodicals and newspapers for those that like to read the old-fashioned way.

 



  •  CD's, DVD's, games, even some old-school VHS, vinyl and cassette tapes are available for loan.




  • Digital media such as eBooks, educational platforms, online music, movies and gaming platforms.

 

  • Free Wi-Fi and internet access.

 

  •  The library hosts various workshops and events such as English conversation classes, book clubs, book launches, creative writing groups, craft classes and much more. Please check our events page to see what's coming up.




  • A conference room is available for hire with tea and coffee facilities.


  • We have a dedicated children's area called 'The Imagination Station', full of books, multimedia and games to educate and enthral kids of all ages. Weekly 'Toddler Rhyme-time' and 'Storytime' sessions are held weekly, bookings are recommended.

Turquoise Coast Library Computer Usage Terms of Use

  Turquoise Coast Library offers ten computers, free for public use, including free internet and Wi-Fi. Bookings are essential. When using our electronic resources, patrons must release Turquoise Coast Library from any liability that may arise such as loss of data or loss of privacy. The library does not control or monitor the information available on the internet so cannot be held responsible for any content viewed.  Children are not permitted to use the library's computers unsupervised, parents or teachers are responsible for monitoring resources accessed by children. Users are   reminded to be considerate of other patrons and refrain from viewing items on high volume (headphones are available), or watching offensive, overly violent or pornographic material. The library reserves the right to cancel a patron's computer access if they are found to be viewing obscene or illegal content.
